The seminar will focus on the role of wind energy, sustainable logistics and inland waterways in strengthening the resilience of the European Union and supporting the green transition. The discussion will place these issues in the broader context of EU policies aimed at achieving climate neutrality, enhancing energy security and developing sustainable and resilient infrastructure. Through expert insights, we will examine:
- the role of offshore wind energy in strengthening the resilience and security of the European energy system,
- the contribution of inland waterways and sustainable logistics to building low-emission and resilient European transport networks,
- the importance of integrated energy and transport infrastructure for achieving the EU’s climate, competitiveness and green transition objectives.
