
Bulgaria received the green light from the European Commission to adopt the euro on 1 January 2026
More than 350 million EU citizens use the euro every day. It is not only a common currency, but above all a symbol of convenience, stability and freedom to travel and trade throughout the Union.
✅ Last week, Bulgaria received the green light from the European Commission to adopt the euro on 1 January 2026. This means that it will soon become the 21st country in the euro area.
